Machst du deine Retros in Miro? Wie lange brauchst du im Normalfall um ein Board vorzubereiten? Wenn es dir ungefähr so geht wie mir vor letztem Jahr… schon ein Weilchen? Wir hatten zwar ein Board mit Kopiervorlagen für um die 20 Aktivitäten auf der Arbeit, aber ich benutze deutlich mehr als 20 verschiedene Aktivitäten. Also habe ich immer noch ein paar Frames dazugeschustert – eher lieblos, wenn ich ehrlich bin. Ordentlich Zeit zu investieren, hat sich nicht gelohnt, denn die waren ja “Einweg”aktivitäten und ich hatte natürlich auch immer genug anderen Kram zu tun. Meine Werke waren nie schön genug sie zusammen mit den anderen Kopiervorlagen zu bewahren, also hat sich die Situation auch nicht verbessert.
Im Januar 2023 hatte ich dann die Nase voll. Ich wollte einfach nur Aktivitäten im Retromat aussuchen und sofort als Vorlage copy-pasten. Aussuchen, strg+c, strg+v, fertig ist ein schönes Board – soweit mein Traum.
Also habe ich angefangen, auf Englisch ein gigantisches Board mit Templates für ALLE 146 Aktivitäten in Retromat zu bauen. Am Ende ließen sich 16 Aktivitäten nicht so richtig auf ein digitales Whiteboard übertragen, es sind pedantisch betrachtet also 130 Aktivitäten, aber wer zählt schon mit. Das Mega Template ist perfekt um hybride und remote Retrospektiven vorzubereiten.
Schon nachdem ich die ersten 40 Aktivitäten ver-template-isiert hatte, habe ich angefangen zu merken, dass ich weniger Zeit zum Vorbereiten brauche und, dass ich wesentlich glücklicher mit dem Board war, was hinterher rauskam. Weil sie ja Kopiervorlagen waren, hatte ich mir mehr Mühe gegeben als früher und die Templates waren entsprechend hübscher. Und ich mag schöne, gut durchdachte Dinge <3
Dann dämmerte mir, dass vielleicht noch andere Menschen die Templates wollen würde und buttere nochmal mehr Sorgfalt rein als ich es nur für mich und meine Kolleg:innen getan hätte.

Die deutsche Version gäbe es nicht ohne Agnes Fleischer – Agile Coach and Scrum Master, die das Board übersetzt hat. Dabei konnte sie auf die deutsche Version des Retromat zurückgreifen, den Ronald Steyer, Patrick Zeising and Martin Luig übersetzt haben. Vielen Dank an alle <3
Wenn du auch gerne schnell Boards bauen möchtest, kannst du das Retromat Miroboard Mega Template kaufen und als .rtb herunterladen. Das ist Miros internes Backup-Format. Du kannst die Datei mit “Upload from backup” importieren, wenn du für Miro bezahlst. Kostenlose Pläne können keine Backup-Dateien importieren.
Es gibt drei verschiedene Lizenzen: Eine für eine kleine Gruppe Facilitators, eine für kleine bis mittelständische Firmen und eine für große Organisationen. Das Board bleibt das gleiche, nur die Lizenz ändert sich, je nachdem wieviele Personen mit den Templates voraussichtlich Boards gestalten werden.

Wie genau lautet die Lizenz?
Erstens, es ist kein Abo/Subscription sondern man bezahlt einmalig.
Zweitens bin ich keine Anwältin und finde juristische Sprache sehr abschreckend. Ich habe mich daher auf den “intended use” / “für welchen Anwendungsfall die Lizenz gedacht ist” konzentriert.
Small License – 1-3 people creating boards Intended use: Fast and easy creation of boards for retrospectives and other workshops. Obviously, once you share your new board with clients or team mates, they will then have the templates of the activities that you selected, too. That's fine as long as it's a reasonable amount per board. (What's "reasonable" you ask? Like up to 10 for a 2h retrospective and up to 30 for a 2-day-workshop? About that. It's not about exact numbers, it's about "sharing a board for a specific meeting" (intended use) vs. "sharing activities for later creation of other boards" (not okay).) I ask you not to share these templates for the sake of sharing them (i. e. outside of a prepared meeting) with more than your group of 3. Sobald man ein Template gekauft hat, landet man auf dieser (englischen) Anleitung: Wie man das Miro-Board importiert.
Achtung, das funktioniert nur wenn man für Miro bezahlt! Wenn du die Retromat Templates mit einem kostenfreien Plan benutzen willst, müsstest du zumindest für einen Monat bezahlen um zu importieren.
Wir haben die englischen Templates gekauft, weil es deutsch nicht gab. Können wir umtauschen (oder upgraden auf das International Bundle)?
